According to the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness, California had over 160,000 people experiencing homelessness on a given day in 2020.

Of the homeless in the state, almost 12,000 were veterans. The National Alliance to End Homelessness reports that in 2020, estimated 3,100 people in San Bernardino County were homeless on a given night, roughly 14.3 people per 10,000. The total number of homeless in the county is up from 2017 estimates of 1,900.  In 2020, 2,400 people went without shelter in the county.

In Riverside County, there were 2,900 homeless in 2020, 2155 of whom went without shelter.

What We Do

Hunter House & Services are focused on providing affordable shared housing solutions, along with an array of resources and support from community partnerships. Our goal is to help those we serve to R.I.S.E
